"It’s like you come onto this planet with a crayon box. Now, you may get the 8-pak, or you may get the 16-pak, but it’s all in what you do with the crayons—the colors— that you’re given. Now don’t worry about coloring inside the lines or outside the lines. I say, color outside the lines! Color right off the page! Don’t box me in."

Hinduism and Buddhism are the two major religions originating in Asia. While Hinduism developed in the earlier centuries with its origin in the Aryan religion, Buddhism was founded by the Buddha, a historical figure was born 563 BCE as Prince Siddhartha Gautama. After renouncing the world, his search for knowledge led to enlightenment. His first sermon at Deer Park included the Wheel (chakra) of the Law (dharma) where he expounded the Four Noble Truths.
Four Noble Truths

Life is suffering

the cause of suffering is desire

one can overcome and extinguish desire

the way to conquer desire and end suffering is to follow the Eight-Fold Path

The Eight-Fold Path reflects the moral code or comportment in Buddhism through: right understanding, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration. This path leads to nirvana or the cessation of the endless cycle of suffering, death, and rebirth.
